- 1 small onion, finely chopped

- 1 packet (1 oz) onion soup mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1/4 cup water (optional, for thickening)
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients
- Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Trim and cut the beef into bite-sized chunks if not already pre-cut.
- Assemble in the Slow Cooker
- Add the beef chunks, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the slow cooker.
- Pour in the beef broth, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt.
- Stir to combine all the ingredients well.
- Slow Cook to Perfection
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
- Thicken the Gravy (Optional)
- If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth.
- Stir the mixture into the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving. Let it cook until the sauce thickens.
- Cook the Noodles
- While the beef finishes cooking, prepare the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
- Serve and Enjoy
- Plate the egg noodles and ladle the beef tips and gravy over the top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
