  • 12 oz egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients
    • Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
    • Trim and cut the beef into bite-sized chunks if not already pre-cut.
  2. Assemble in the Slow Cooker
    • Add the beef chunks, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the slow cooker.
    • Pour in the beef broth, onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt.
    • Stir to combine all the ingredients well.
  3. Slow Cook to Perfection
    • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the beef is fork-tender.
  4. Thicken the Gravy (Optional)
    • If a thicker sauce is desired, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth.
    • Stir the mixture into the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving. Let it cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. Cook the Noodles
    • While the beef finishes cooking, prepare the egg noodles according to the package instructions.
  6. Serve and Enjoy
    • Plate the egg noodles and ladle the beef tips and gravy over the top.
