Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken

    • If using large chicken breasts, slice them in half horizontally to create thinner cutlets.

    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

    • Lightly coat the chicken with flour, shaking off excess.

  2. Cook the Chicken

    • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

    • Sear the chicken for about 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/75°C internal temperature).

    • Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

  3. Make the Garlic Sauce

    • In the same pan, reduce heat to medium-low and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

    • Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2 minutes.

    • Add heavy cream, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

    • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.

  4. Combine and Serve

    • Return the chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over the top. Let warm in the sauce for 2–3 minutes.
