  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken
    • Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Sear the Chicken
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and butter.
    • Once the butter melts, add the chicken and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Boursin Sauce
    • In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits.
    • Add the Boursin cheese, breaking it apart with a spatula.
    • Pour in the heavy cream and stir until smooth.
    • Add Dijon mustard and red pepper flakes (if using) for extra flavor.
  4. Simmer & Finish
    • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
    • Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for 10 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
