Ingredients
Scale
For the sliders:
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or soft dinner rolls)
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (or 6 sausage patties)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or a blend of cheeses)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
For the topping (optional):
- 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Oven and Rolls
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half horizontally without separating them individually. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the Eggs
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Pour into a heated nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Scramble gently until just set (they will continue cooking in the oven).
- Assemble the Sliders
- Spread scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom half of the slider buns. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon or place the sausage patties on top. Add a generous layer of shredded cheese.
- Add the Top Buns and Butter Topping
- Place the top half of the slider buns over the filling. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning (if using).
- Bake the Sliders
- Cover the dish loosely with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve and Enjoy
- Let the sliders cool slightly before slicing into individual portions. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- Meat options: Use ham, turkey sausage, or shredded brisket.
- Cheese choices: Swap cheddar for pepper jack, Swiss, or mozzarella.
- Make it spicy: Add diced jalapeños, hot sauce, or cayenne to the eggs.
- Vegetarian version: Omit the meat and add sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, and spinach.
