For the Glaze:

 

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 tablespoons milk (to adjust consistency)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Oven and Baking Dish:
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

  • Prepare the Cinnamon Filling:
    In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.

  • Layer the Dough:
    Unroll the crescent roll dough and place it flat in the prepared baking dish. Pinch the seams to form one solid layer.

  • Add the Cinnamon Filling:
    Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the dough.

  • Roll and Cut the Dough:
    Roll up the dough tightly and slice it into 9–12 pieces.

  • Bake the Bars:
    Arrange the sliced dough in the baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Make the Glaze:
    Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add milk to adjust the consistency.

  • Glaze the Bars:
    Drizzle the glaze over the warm bars.

    Allow the glaze to set, then cut into squares and serve.
