For the Meatballs:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp heavy cream (optional)
- 1 tbsp butter or tallow (for cooking)
For the Creamy Sauce:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Meatballs:
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, egg, Parmesan, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and heavy cream.
- Form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat butter or tallow in a skillet over medium heat and cook meatballs for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through (165°F). Remove from skillet.
- Make the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return meatballs to the skillet and coat with sauce. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Serve & Enjoy:
- Garnish with extra Parmesan if desired.
- Serve on its own or with scrambled eggs, bacon, or sautéed mushrooms.
