Instructions
For the Cake:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, eggs, butterscotch pudding mix, and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Topping:
- Melt the butterscotch chips in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Stir until smooth.
