Instructions
Prepare the Broccoli
- Wash the broccoli thoroughly and cut it into florets.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the broccoli for 3–4 minutes until tender yet firm.
- Drain and set aside.
2. Make the Cream Sauce
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring continuously.
- Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using).
3. Combine and Serve
- Add the broccoli florets to the creamy sauce, ensuring they are well coated.
- Cook on low heat for 2–3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and serve warm.
