Description

Flaky, buttery crescent rolls wrapped around savory breakfast sausage for an easy and delicious morning treat. Perfect for quick breakfasts, brunch, or meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)

  • 8 fully cooked breakfast sausage links

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash, optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Roll Out the Dough – Unroll crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.

  • Add Sausage & Cheese – Place a sausage link on the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle cheese if using.

  • Roll & Seal – Roll dough around the sausage and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

  • Brush with Egg Wash (Optional) – Lightly brush with beaten egg for a golden-brown finish.

  • Bake – Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

 

  • Serve & Enjoy – Let cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.

  • Make Ahead: Assemble the night before and refrigerate, then bake fresh in the morning.
