  • Total Time: 30-35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

Enjoy these easy Baked Reuben Sliders, a delicious twist on the classic deli sandwich! Made with Hawaiian rolls, corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing, they’re baked to golden perfection. Perfect for game day, parties, or a fun family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls (or any small slider buns)
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 3/4 pound corned beef, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3/4 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional, for extra rye flavor)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

Step 2: Assemble the Sliders

  1. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them individually.
  2. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. Spread a layer of Thousand Island dressing over the rolls.
  4. Evenly layer the corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut on top.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls back on.

Step 3: Make the Butter Topping
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and caraway seeds (if using).

Step 4: Brush and Bake

  1. Generously brush the butter mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  2. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and slightly crispy.

Step 5: Serve and Enjoy
Let the sliders cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Use Pastrami Instead: Swap out the corned beef for pastrami for a different take.
  • Make It Spicy: Add a layer of spicy brown mustard or horseradish sauce.
  • Rye Flavor: Use mini rye rolls instead of Hawaiian rolls for a more traditional Reuben taste.
  • Extra Cheese: Add an extra layer of Swiss or even provolone for more cheesiness.
