Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Soak the breadcrumbs in milk or water for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Finely chop the onion and fresh parsley.
Step 2: Mix the Meat Mixture
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, softened breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, and marjoram (if using).
- Mix thoroughly with hands or a spoon without overmixing.
Step 3: Shape the Patties
- Divide the mixture into 4–6 equal portions.
- Shape each portion into a thick, oval-shaped patty.
Step 4: Cook the Frikadellen
- Heat butter or oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

- Remove from heat and let rest before serving.
