  • Total Time: 17 minutes
  • Yield: Fusion, American-Asian

Description

Crispy, golden air fryer blueberry cheesecake wontons are a delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake filling and fresh blueberries, wrapped in a crunchy wonton shell. This quick and easy dessert is perfect for parties, snacks, or satisfying sweet cravings with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup fresh or frozen blueberries (thawed and drained if frozen)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

  • Cooking spray or melted butter (for crispiness)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:

    • In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth.
    • Gently fold in the blueberries, slightly mashing them to distribute the flavor.
  • Assemble the Wontons:

    • Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean, dry surface.
    • Place 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper.
    • Lightly brush edges with beaten egg and fold diagonally into a triangle.
    • Press edges firmly to seal, ensuring no air pockets. Optionally, crimp with a fork.
  • Air Fry the Wontons:

    • Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
    • Lightly spray wontons with cooking spray or brush with melted butter.
    • Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
    • Air fry for 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.

  • Serve and Enjoy:

    • Remove wontons from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
    • Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Swap blueberries for raspberries, strawberries, or peaches for variety.
  • For a sweeter twist, add mini chocolate chips to the filling.
  • Toss hot wontons in cinnamon sugar instead of powdered sugar for extra flavor.

  • Freeze assembled wontons before cooking for a make-ahead dessert.
