Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
  • 4 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Toss the chicken strips with cornstarch and black pepper in a bowl to ensure tenderness when stir-fried.

Step 2: Mix the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Chicken
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Return the chicken to the pan and pour in the sauce. Stir well and cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is evenly coated and heated through.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
